Patricia Don Diego is a multi-talented artist whose experiences include woodcarving, decorating furniture, painting and, in the past, weaving.
"My love of weaving, which I don't do anymore, colors my work. I love weaving patterns from all over the world and I enjoy taking those patterns and translating them into my works."
Patricia graduated from Northern Michigan University with a B.S. in art education then taught in grades 1-8 in Greenfield, Wisconsin ( a suburb of Milwaukee) for seven years. She also taught youth art and woodcarving at the Art Center in Helena, Montana.
Her work has been accepted in several juried shows, including the annual Missoula Art Museum's auction, and the Holter Art Museum in Helena Montana.
She has also won awards in shows, including several one person shows, in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Helena, Montana, Missoula, Montana, and Florence Montana. She's been included in several group shows, had three newspaper articles written about her work, and has collectors all over the country.
Patricia has lived in Stevensville, Montana for 14 years where she has a studio and currently has work at LA Design in Missoula Montana.
